The line appears in the English opening sequence of the European Sega Mega Drive release of Zero Wing (1991), translated from the Japanese game. A GIF of the sequence circulated online by the late 1990s; a Flash music video uploaded to Newgrounds on February 16, 2001 helped make it an early internet meme with a mass audience.
